Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Digital Communications, Mallam Bashir Ahmad has said that the New Media will play a significant role to the victory of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the coming 2023 elections.
Ahmad stated this on his verified Facebook Account when he was appointed as Deputy Chairman, New Media Directorate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) 2023 elections Campaign Council.
The APC has released a 422-man list of the Presidential Campaign Council by James Faleke, the Presidential Campaign Council Secretary, late Friday.
However the S.A said he was excited by the appointment and that they will play their part towards the victories of Tinubu/Shettima presidency in the coming 2023 elections, adding that they did same in 2015 and 2019.

“I am honored and humbled to be called for a national assignment once again, this time, by our great party, the All Progressives Congress and our presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to deputize the New Media Directorate of the APC Presidential Campaign Council (APC PCC).
“I thank my party and our presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu for finding me worthy of such great national assignment, we will by God’s grace give our all, with the support of our teeming social media supporters across the country, to lead a clean and excellent digital media campaign for our party and our candidate.
“New Media contributed significantly to the victory of our party in 2015 and 2019 and we will double our efforts for our expected victory in 2023, in Sha Allah,” he said.
Meanwhile Bashir Ahmad prayed for God to give them the strength to do the right thing and also for their party, APC, to win elections in 2023.
