2023: NNPP Kano senatorial candidate promised effective representation if elected

The New Nigeria People’s Party(NNPP) Kano South Senatorial District Candidate,Hon.Kawu Sumaila, has promised to offer effective and efficient representation by bringing the dividends of democracy to his constituents if elected.

Sumaila who is the former Special Adviser to President Muhammdu Buhuri, on Assembly matters made the call while addressing press conference in Kano on Saturday.

” I aspire to serve the good people of Kano South Senatorial district through qualitative representation of elected.

“I can assure you that our great party ,the NNPP will never regret choosing me as the candidate to represent my people, as accountability, transparency and good representation will be my watchword.

According to him, “if elected as senator I will constitute Kano South Consultative Forum to make me interact with my people, we value the life of our people.

“I will also promote rule of law for the betterment of the electorates.We are men and women of dignity and intergrity, we don’t sell our conscious”he said.

He urged electorate to vote for credible candidates, adding that the era of voting on party sentiments is gone and vote-buying.

The Senatorial candidate, therefore, urged residents to safeguard their permanent voter cards and make themselves eligible to vote in the 2023 general elections .

He said that it was only by so doing that honest and trusted candidate would emerge to ensure good democratic governance .

” We have reached out to our campaign organisation across the senatorial districts to do more in sensitising our teaming supporters to shun all kind of provocation for build up of our candidates seeking elective positions in 2023.

” I also strongly appeal to our supporters to shun all kinds of violence and thuggery in the ongoing electioneering campaign.

He said that NNPP is committed towards successful implementation of all electoral processes,” he said.

Sumaila called on local and international observers, Civil societies and relevant stakeholders to join hands towards protecting life and properties of the public as we are approaching the 2023 general election.
