Limited Time Opportunity! 12 More Institutions Now Eligible for NELFUND Loans (Apply Now!)

Good News for Students! 12 More Institutions Join NELFUND Student Loan Program (Apply Now!)

The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) announced on Wednesday that 12 additional state-owned tertiary institutions have been added to the student loan application pool. This expansion brings the total number of participating institutions to 48, providing more students with access to financial aid for their education.

“With this latest addition, we’re excited to offer the NELFUND student loan program to a wider range of students across Nigeria,” said Nasir Ayitogo, Head of Media and Public Relations for NELFUND. “The onboarding process followed the successful submission and verification of complete student data from these institutions.”

Call to Action for Students:

Students enrolled in any of the newly onboarded institutions can now apply for NELFUND loans to help finance their education. A complete list of these institutions is available on the NELFUND website.

Action Needed by Institutions:

The statement also highlighted that data from 121 institutions is still outstanding. NELFUND urges all institutions that haven’t submitted their student data yet to do so through the Student Verification Portal. This will allow their students to benefit from the loan scheme.

Benefits for All:

NELFUND also called on states whose student data has already been uploaded to actively encourage their students to apply for loans. This will not only provide financial relief to students struggling with tuition costs but also generate guaranteed revenue for the institutions themselves.
