The United States Embassy in Nigeria has announced a transition to a new visa services provider for its consulates in Abuja and Lagos, effective August 26, 2024. This decision was communicated via the embassy’s official website and social media channels.

The embassy has advised Nigerian applicants that those who have booked appointments will lose access to the U.S. travel website, ustraveldocs.com, from August 16, 2024. The embassy assures that arrangements are being made to accommodate both existing and new applicants during the transition period.

Applicants with interviews scheduled between August 16 and August 26, 2024, should note that they will no longer have access to their accounts on the current website after August 16.
