President Tinubu Swears In Seven New Ministers

President Bola Tinubu officially swore in seven newly-appointed ministers today during a ceremony at the Aso Rock Villa’s council chamber. The ministers, who were confirmed by the Senate after thorough screenings, will assume their respective roles immediately.

This appointment follows President Tinubu’s recent dismissal of five ministers, prompting the nomination of these new officials to fill the vacancies and expand his cabinet.

The newly appointed ministers and their portfolios are as follows:

  • Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda – Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction
  • Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi – Minister of Labour and Employment
  • Bianca Odinaka Odumegwu-Ojukwu – Minister of State for Foreign Affairs
  • Dr. Jumoke Oduwole – Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment
  • Idi Mukhtar Maiha – Minister of Livestock Development
  • Yusuf Abdullahi Ata – Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development
  • Dr. Suwaiba Said Ahmad – Minister of State for Education

These ministers are expected to hit the ground running, contributing to the administration’s objectives in their respective fields.
