Aviaworld Initiative Launches Youth-Focused Aviation Business Conference

Lagos, Nigeria – November 21, 2024
The Maman Avia Initiative, through its Aviaworld platform, hosted a dynamic event, Avi-Day 2024, at Sheba Centre, Ikeja, Lagos. Themed “Wings Unclipped: Is There Hope for the Next Generation?”, the conference aimed to address youth empowerment and inclusivity within the aviation and business sectors.

The event spotlighted the role of youth as drivers of progress. “Youths are not just the leaders of tomorrow; they are a driving force today,” said Ololade Adenekan, the convener. Adenekan emphasized the importance of providing mentorship, support, and opportunities for young people to thrive. The initiative seeks to foster environments where youths can contribute meaningfully to society.

Keynote speaker, Chukwuerika Achums, CEO of Viva Jets, delivered a compelling address, alongside a diverse panel discussing challenges and opportunities in the aviation industry. The conference included exhibitions, aviation games, and networking opportunities designed to inspire and engage participants.
