Gospel Star Mercy Chinwo, Husband Pastor Blessed Welcome Second Child

Award-winning gospel singer Mercy Chinwo and her husband, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa, have announced the birth of their second child.

The joyful news was shared by Chinwo on Friday through her official Instagram page, accompanied by stunning maternity photos.

“The Lord has done it again! He has added to our joy… multiplied our laughter… and blessed us with the precious gift of a second baby,” she wrote, adding, “His name will be lifted in our lineage forever.”

The couple, who celebrated their third wedding anniversary just days ago, also expressed gratitude for God’s continued blessings on their family. Chinwo took a moment to honour her husband in her post, noting that the Lord has been “good to them.”

The birth marks another milestone in what has been a year of celebration for the pair, who welcomed their first child in 2023.

Chinwo, known for hit songs like Excess Love and Confidence, remains one of Nigeria’s most beloved gospel voices, while Pastor Blessed serves as the lead pastor of The Waterbrook Church in Lagos.
