AA-Zaura foundation to disburse N200m scholarship to 10,000 students

The Kano Central Sanatorial candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Abdulsalam Abdulkarim-Zaura (AA Zaura), has concluded plans to disburse N200 million scholarships to 10,000 Kano State students to encourage learning, enrollment, student training and empowerment in the state.

Zaura made the disclosure while briefing newsmen on Kano Central political development in Kano, adding that the scholarship program is under his humanitarian aid foundation (AA-Zaura Foundation).

He said that each beneficiary would receive the sum of N20,000 as scholarship starting with batch A which will commence in few days.

According to him, if elected as a Senator Kano Central 2023, “i will compliment the state government in the area of education, infrastructure, construction of primary health care centres,drugs and medical equipments.

“Access rural and Urban roads and agriculture through conventional constituency projects. Our network within government is to ensure, facilitate the desired and sustainable development to our people.

“Most of the things I will be doing if elected are things that I have been doing with my personal resources which gives me pleasure and make me closer to my people.

“Kano Central consist of 15 local government with 172 wards, If elected reflecting on their needs and mandate will be our key responsibilities.”

Meanwhile, Abdulkarim-Zaura said in 2021 Zaura Foundation provided dialysis machine as well as creating awareness on the causes of kidney diseases.

“If elected into the Senate I will sponsor a health bill on kidney disease and will do my best to support the state government”. Abdulkarim-Zaura said.
