Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has donated 50 million naira for distribution to people affected by flood in Jigawa state.
Atiku made the donation when he paid a courtesy visit to the state Chairman Council of Chiefs, Emir of Hadejia Dr Adamu Abubakar Maje and the Emir of Dutse Dr Nuhu Muhammadu Sunusi in their palaces during his campaign visit to the state.

The presidential candidate said the aim of the visit is to sympathise the state as well as the victims affected by flood in the state.
Responding, the Emir of Dutse,Dr. Nuhu Muhammadu Sunusi appreciated the donation given to the state flood committee.
The Emir assured that, the donation will be distributed directly to the affected victims.
Also speaking, the Emir of Hadejia Dr. Adamu Abubakar Maje also commended the efforts of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for his tireless efforts in visiting states affected by flood.
Daily Focus reports that, some of the PDP Presidential Candidate entourage include, Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of sokoto state, Former Governor of Jigawa State Dr Sule Lamido, Senators Dino Melaye and Abdul Ningi among others.
