Beware of scammers while applying for N-Power–Kano gov’t warns applicants

The Kano state government has warned prospective applicants of the N-Power scheme to be wary of scammers who might “who might take the advantage to exploit them as applicants do not have to pay anybody.”

DAILY FOCUS reports that the federal government is set to recruit the Batch C beneficiaries of the N-power scheme, which is part of the Social Investment Programme (SIP).

In a statement, the state’s Commissioner for Information, Malam Muhammad Garba said the portal opened Friday, June, 2020 for fresh registration of intakes and that all the processes involved in the application are free.

He explained that the programme, “has the mandate of lifting citizens out of abject poverty through capacity building, investment, and direct support.”

“While the process is still ongoing, interested and eligible applicants should visit the N-Power portal to register at https://t.co/2ZzGc1IUow and must have acceptable government Identity Cards,” Mr Garba said.
