CIBN donates 200 capacity theatre to Kano Polytechnic

The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) has donated a building of 200 capacity theatre to the School of Management Studies, Kano state Polytechnic.

The building, constructed at the Banking and finance department of the institution will serve as a legacy Project endowed to the state Polytechnic named, “The CIBN Bankers Hall.”

Speaking, the President and chairman, CIBN, Ken Opara said “the project aligns with the institute’s vision to create generations of people by building capacity of younger ones in studying professional banking.

“By the time they have professional qualification, they become employable so that they can occupy critical positions in the banking sector.”

Commissioning the project, Kano state commissioner for Higher education, Mariya Mahmoud Bunkure alongside the President and chairman, CIBN, Ken Opara commended tha laudable gesture while extending heartfelt regards of the governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for finding Kano worthy for the project.

On his part, the Rector, Ass. Professor Kabir Bello Dungurawa thanked the institute for citing the project within his domain while assuring to make judicious use of the facility.
