Ganduje son loses rep poll to incumbent NNPP candidate

Umar Abdullahi Ganduje, son to the Governor of Kano state, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has lost his election of the Dawakin Tofa/Tofa/Rimingado Federal Constituency to the incumbent candidate of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP).

Ganduje lost to his opponent, Tijjani Abudlkadir Jobe of the NNPP, who is representing the Constituency in the green chamber for the fifth time.

Jobe was polled 52, 456 votes against Ganduje, who polled 44, 809 votes.

People in the state has been anticipating for the results of the said Constituency, as to whether the present governor of the state will deliver for his son.
