The Director General, Tinubu Vanguard, Kamilu Abdullahi Abubabakar Maiganji said, he remains the only official and recognised leader of the Tinubu support group in the 19 northern states and Abuja.
Briefing Journalists in Kano, Maiganji said, after consultations from stakeholders within the 19 Northern States and Abuja, his mandate as the Director-General, Tinubu Vanguard in the 19 Northern States and Abuja have been restored with all requirements by the law.
“Our movements make Tinubu Vanguard as one of the major support Group for Bola Ahmed Tinubu 2023. And this success came as a result of our 24/7 work in Northern Nigeria with all our resources and we find out that some so called people want to use us and dumped as northerners that’s why we start looking for a way forward because Northern Nigeria is our priory to deliver votes for Asinwaju’s Presidential Ambition.

“We will work tirelessly for the success of our principal Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running Senator Kashim Shettima and all APC Governorship Candidates of the 19 Northern states and also members of the upper and lower chambers respectively.
Maiganji lamented that despite their contributions of organising different occasions and conference in other to show the capacity and what they can do to deliver for the victory of APC in general, they were were only contacted when there’s need for expensive and hardship assignments to embark upon.
“There are funds contributed by Board of Trustees (BOT), NEC Members and other important personalities donating to Tinubu Vanguard Account but no any single Kobo comes to our hand for all the occasions and conferences we do in all
activities in Northern Nigeria.
“More so, we realized that there’s no any northerner that’s a signatory of the Account of Tinubu Vanguard and we are duly concerned and as we promised to our people for the love and trust they give us, we will never let them down that is why we decided to be independent.
“Henceforth, we are informing His Excellency, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Kashim Shettima, National Party Chairman Presidential Campaign Council, all the APC Governors in Northern Nigeria and also the Gubernatorial candidates of APC in Northern Nigeria, all the APC upper and lower Chamber’s Candidates in Northern Nigeria and Stakeholders of APC at any level in Northern we are the only Tinubu Vanguard 19 Northern States and Abuja that has the constitutional and legal right to operate our activities in our jurisdiction.”
He therefore, warned anybody that uses the platform to observe activities or cross jurisdiction to be ready to contend with the consequences.
