The Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba has paid a condolence visit to the Managing Director of Kano State Road Traffic Agency (KAROTA), Bappa Babba Dan Agundi, following the demise of his mother.
Alkali describes the death as the sad loss of a mother that spent her lifetime reading the holy Quran, praying Almighty Allah to grant her Jannatul Fiddaus.
“I pray to Allah that the family members find the strength to overcome this great loss. May she rest in peace’.
While commiserating with the family, the IGP urged them to be strong and focus on upholding her legacies.
Responding on behalf of the family, Sarkin Dawaki Mai Tuta Babba, Alhaji Aminu Babba Dan Agundi expressed happiness for the condolence despite the tight schedules of the IGP.
Dan Agundi prayed to almighty God to continue helping the IGP in the fight against insecurity in the country.
While noting that the deceased was a great mother who preaches peace and knowledge.
The IGP was accompanied by senior police chiefs and top government officials.
