KNSG call on motorists to enrol in driving school

The Kano State Government has called on drivers to enroll in driving school with a view to acquire vast knowledge on modern transportation system.

The Commissioner for Housing and Transport, Alhaji Sale Kausani made the call while receiving members of Nigerian Institute of Transport and Technology (NITT) Zaria, in his Office.

This is contained in a statement issued to newsmen by the Information Officer Housing and Transport of the Ministry, Ibrahim Adamu on Thursday in Kano.

Kausani said that learning how to drive will go along way to solve half of the problems facing idrivers as well as reducing alot of accidents which occured day to day in our major roads and thanked them for the visit.

Earlier, the director of Nigerian Institute of transport and technology Dr. Bala Ibrahim- Moudi said they were in the ministry to congratulate the Commissioner for his appointment and assured him all possible synergy and collaboration with the ministry.

He futher explained that the NITT would like to partner with kano state government through transport ministry with a view to trained the proparetors of driving school so that the schools may benefit from the new innovative and technologys system been provided by the institute of transport globally.

In her vote of thanks the permanant Secretary Hajiya Aminatu Muhammed Usman has commended NITT for choosing kano state through ministry to partner with and assured of the state government readiness whenever the need arise.
