A 35 year-old man (yet to be identified) was trapped in a service antenna diesel reservoir tank at Gaida Kuka Uku in Kumbotso Local Government Area of Kano State.
The man was said to have been trapped while trying to fetch diesel from the reservoir, as he was sighted holding a jerrican inside the tank.
Public Relations Officer of Kano State Fire Service, Alhaji Saminu Abdullahi disclosed this to newsmen in Kano Monday.

He said although cause of the incident is uncertain, but security operatives at the place said they dont know the victim and no body is aware of the time he entered the place.
“We received an emergency call at about 03:30a.m. from one of our staff Ibrahim Muktar-Bichi and we sent our rescue team to the scene at about 03:38a.m.
“The man entered inside service antenna diesel reservoir tank with a yellow jerrycan. The security staff claim they don’t know him. He was trapped and rescued unconscious and later confirmed death,” he said.
The victim was handed over to Inspector Elisha Bulus of Panshekara police division.
