…Presents award to some staff for an exemplary performance

The management of an independent online Newspaper based in Kano, PRIME TIME NEWS, has on Friday organized an end-of-year dinner to celebrate its staff for exhibiting commitment, zeal and honesty towards discharging their duties throughout the year 2022.

The management also awarded some staff with prizes for displaying an exemplary and positive attitude to work, so as to motivate them and others.

Mr Ibrahim Garba Shuaibu is the Chief Executive Officer and Publisher of PRIME TIME NEWS, He also doubles as a Senior Special Assistant (North West) to the President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), as well as the Chairperson (NUJ) Correspondents’ Chapel, Kano Chapter.‎

While Speaking at the event, Mr Ibrahim Garba congratulated all the staff for coming this far with the grace of Almighty God.

Adding that, the aim of organizing the dinner is to celebrate all the staff for committing their God’s gift intelligence towards sustaining the image of PRIME TIME NEWS in the minds of its readers.

“building and sustaining a healthy relationship between the management of an organization and its staff goes a long way in elevating the organization’s position amongst its competitors” He added.

On his part, Abdullahi Yusuf, PRIME TIME NEWS Editor-in-Chief and a Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Information to the Governor of Kano State, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, thanked Almighty God for sparing our lives to see the end of the year 2022 successfully.

Abdullahi while congratulating the Management and staff of PRIME TIME NEWS, disclosed that any News item from PRIME TIME is considered credible to him. Thanks to the dedicated young men and women of the organization.

“In fact, I boast of PRIME TIME NEWS without an iota of doubt anytime and anywhere I find myself on this earth. Because I know we have staff with PRIME TIME NEWS in their hearts” He added.

The Editor-in-Chief while complimenting the awardees for the year 2022, said “this is another challenge placed before you, ensure you sustain the positive attitude to work as we step into the year 2023”.

“And for other staff, with an award or not you are already winners in your different designations, I, therefore, charge all of you to work in peace and unity towards sustaining the tempo of PRIME TIME NEWS in the hearts of our readers comes 2023” he stressed.

Salisu Hamisu Ali, Hannatu Sulaiman Abba and Maryam Sulaiman are some of the awardees who spoke to our reporter and they unanimously expressed their gratitude to the management of PRIME TIME NEWS for finding them worthy to be awarded.

Vowing that “we have listened and promise to utilize the advice dished out to us by our mentors towards sustaining the positive attitude to work and ensuring we place PRIME TIME NEWs at the top of the peak, God’s willing”

PRIME TIME NEWS reporter Mustapha Salisu reports that, the highlights of the event include, a prayer session for surviving the year 2022 and looking up to 2023 for Almighty God’s protection, award presentations, mapping out a line of action for the year 2023 and group photographs.
