PRNigeria, a subsidiary of Image Merchants Promotions limited, the publishers of Economic Confidential have unveiled a book; National Security Strategies, a young writers perspectives.
The unveiling of the book written by one of its staff, Mukhtar Ya’u Madobi which took place in Kano, also mark the end of the company’s management and Staff retreat for the year 2022.
The book offers well articulated perspectives of a young Nigerian writer over the National Security Strategy (NSS) while it also analyses contemporary issues in reinforcing contents of the NSS, which was released by the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) in 2019.

The NSS aims at ensuring that Nigeria’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, national interests, the well-being of the people and the country’s institutions are preserved, protected and enhanced.
The topics in the book are spread in six chapters: Enhancing Response; Counterterrorism; Efforts at Sustainable Development; Socio-Economic Factors; Soft Approach programmes; Cybersecurity and Emerging Challenges.
Meanwhile, the event served as an avenue to interfere with the media and stakeholders in the humanitarian situations in Kebbi and Niger states courtesy of two special investigative reports conducted by the author on the humanitarian situations of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) as a result of banditry in Chonoko village, Zuru Emirates in Kebbi State and that of Kagara town in Niger States respectively.
Therefore, PRNigeria deemed it necessary to converse on the issues in order to showcase its findings regarding the two separate expeditions aimed at drawing the attention of the concerned authorities for necessary interventions to the victims.
