DreamPulse Media Unveils DreamPulse Tech Awards to Honour Africa’s Untold Innovators

DreamPulse Media has announced the launch of the DreamPulse Tech Awards, a new platform dedicated to recognising Africa’s most promising innovators and change-makers.

The inspiration came from a deeply personal story. Akin Smith, Founder of DreamPulse Media, watched his brother Bolaji Smith build DigiPhonix Limited from their family home. Despite his creativity and resilience, Bolaji’s talent went largely unrecognised. That moment revealed to Akin the silent struggles of countless African innovators—talented, determined, but often unseen.

“This is more than an award ceremony,” explained Akin Smith. “It’s about building an ecosystem that nurtures talent, connects founders to opportunities, and puts African innovation on the global stage.”

The DreamPulse Tech Awards will spotlight innovators in FaithTech, AgriTech, and TransportTech, with winners selected for their ability to solve real problems through innovative, impactful, and scalable solutions.

DreamPulse Media envisions the awards growing into a continental platform within five years, with regional showcases, innovation labs, mentorship programs, and global partnerships designed to accelerate African innovation.
