NIPOST and Glovo Partner to Boost E-commerce Logistics in Nigeria

Lagos, Nigeria – February 19, 2025 – The Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) and Glovo, a leading on-demand delivery platform, have joined forces to tackle the logistical challenges hindering e-commerce growth in Nigeria. The partnership was announced at a stakeholder forum organized by both entities, in collaboration with the Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy.

The forum brought together key players in the e-commerce ecosystem, including policymakers, technology leaders, and private sector representatives, to discuss solutions for bridging Nigeria’s logistics gap and integrating digital and physical infrastructure.

She highlighted NIPOST’s extensive infrastructure network and its potential to provide critical last-mile delivery solutions. “By aligning our vast network with digital platforms, we can create an efficient logistics framework that benefits businesses, especially SMEs, and ensures that e-commerce reaches every corner of Nigeria,” Odeyemi stated.
