Daughter of Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia Found Dead in Lagos

Aribemchukwu, the daughter of Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia, has been found dead at her residence in Parkview Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos State. The deceased, known as Chuchu, was discovered outside the gate of her home on Wednesday morning.

A family source, speaking anonymously, indicated that Aribemchukwu was killed the previous night. There were signs of an attempt to clean up blood inside the house and the compound, suggesting that new household staff might have been involved in the incident.

“It appears that the newly employed staff, who had been with her for less than a month, might be responsible. They attempted to stage the scene as if she was outside when it happened,” the source said.

Lagos State Command spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the murder, stating that three suspects, including a driver and two maids, have been arrested in connection with the case.

“Our investigation is ongoing, and we will provide further updates as the situation develops,” Hundeyin said.

Aribemchukwu, a doctor who had recently married, was tragically killed under circumstances that are still being investigated.
